Welcome to VolleyFly (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VolleyFly web application (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. You may use VolleyFly to create seasons, manage teams, record match events, generate reports, and other features provided.

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VolleyFly.

1.2 Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

2. User Content

“User Content” includes team data, player information, match statistics, uploads, or anything you enter into the Service.

2.1 Your Ownership

You retain ownership of all User Content you create.

2.2 License You Give Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

2.3 Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you input.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the platform.
  • Upload harmful code, malware, or automated bots.
  • Misuse features to overload or exploit the system.
  • Access the Service using unauthorized methods or bypass security.

4. Service Availability

VolleyFly may experience downtime (maintenance, outages, platform updates, third-party issues such as Heroku or Netlify service disruptions). While we aim for high availability, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free.

5. Plans, Payments, and Limits

If VolleyFly offers free and paid tiers, the features and limits of each tier will be described separately in the app or website.

5.1 No Refunds (Unless Required by Law)

All payments are generally non-refundable unless required by your local laws.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to VolleyFly if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • You misuse or attempt to harm the platform.
  • We are required to by law.

You may close your account at any time within the app or by contacting support.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VolleyFly is not liable for:

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
  • Service interruptions or delays.
  • Any damages caused by misuse of the Service.
  • Third-party service failures (e.g., Heroku, Netlify, OAuth providers).

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. When major changes occur, we’ll notify users via email or in-app messages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
